Well babe, we made it through 5 years and I can honestly say I love you more today than I did when I married you. Lucky for me, you are just as dashingly handsome today as you were back then. Truthfully I can say that these have been the best five years of my life. My nana use to say that I made her heart burst because of all the love she had for me. Back then I use to laugh and smile when she would say it because I loved her too, I just think I was too young to appreciate that kind of love. Today I finally understand that kind of love. Sometimes my heart feels that same way when I see you after a full day of work, or when I watch you play with the boys, or fulfill your calling, or when you tell me you love me. What a wonderful gift we have been given. It's just one word and I had no clue it had so many vast depths. I am so grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who knew how much I needed you. Thanks for everything. You are my bestfriend. Here's to another 5 and many many more.

FOUR already!
Jaxon Alivin Sauls, you were born October 25, 2005 in Flagstaff, AZ at the Flagstaff Medical Center. You weight 8lbs 11oz and were the cutest thing I had ever seen.
I couldn't help but dress you in some new outfits while we were at the hospital. I can still remember sliding those little legs and little arms through the holes.
You have the best daddy ever. He made sure you were safe and secure in your new car seat for the ride home.
At seven months old you began to have quite the personality and continually stole my heart. I just thought you were the best thing since chocolate.
You just turned one before we got these Christmas pictures taken. You made us a family. Just look at that face full of energy and smiles.
You and your binki were always with me. I loved taking you to the park or going for walks to meet daddy on his way home from class.
You had so much fun on your first trip to the Grand Canyon. You told dad to "check out the huge hole in the ground". We still laugh when we think about how much fun you had.
Sister Patterson took this picture of you and Brett. I love it because you two are the best of friends. Even though you fight sometimes, I love it when you don't know we're listening and you tell Brett you love him.
Even through all the issues that come with potty training, we survived and you are a successful potty user with only minimal accidents on your record.
You were so handsome in this Christmas picture. I just loved this little suit we bought you, you looked like such a little man.
For the most part you loved the snow while we lived in Flagstaff. I ofter wonder what kind of memories you will have from those days. We really did have so much fun.
This is one of my favorite pictures of you. You are so handsome. I am so blessed to have you in my life. Your daddy and I treasure you and are so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that has entrusted you in our care. Although I am sad to think I won't always be able to hold you in my arms, I find joy in watching you learn and grow. It has been so fun to see you turn from a sweet baby to an amazing little boy. I love you so much.

How about a Virtual Tour?
Welcome to Goodyear, Arizona; home of the endless summer. :) At least that's how it feels these days! :) Here is the new homestead. It has four bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, an office (which is a toyroom for us) and a cool little backyard. Hope you'll stay for the tour.
Here is what the house looks like from the street. Tre and Jaxon are happy to give you a tour.
Let's head in through the front door to start our tour today.
Feel free to knock. I am sure someone just can't wait to let you in.
Thanks Tre, you are such a good tour guide. Let's see this new pad.
To our immediate left we have a hall way that leads to the guest bedroom (Nana & Papa's room) and bathroom.
Here is the room. Jaxon wants to let you know the bed is great for jumping, no matter what mom says.
Next is the guest bathroom. I can't believe this house has three full bathrooms. Cleaning them is the problem. lol
After the hall way we enter into the kitchen. I know it's dark sorry, APS bill was too high last month. :) Wait til you see all the cupboards. Some are still empty!
Here is the kitchen area where I have to keep my dishes clean all time due to the location of the sink. It's a good and a bad thing. You like those flowers, they were "just because" flowers from my husband!
Here is the other side of the wall. More cupboards. :) Note the hall way to the right. We'll be heading there next.
Our first stop down this hall way is the laundry room. Judge me if you may but I am not perfect and I don't always get the clothes put away immediately. At least I'm keepin it real. :)
Next stop is the toy room. This is the perfect room for the kiddos and all their friends. It makes life easier.
Next is the boy's room. Here is a look from the doorway. Let's go see inside.
Here is the dresser and changing table straight ahead. To the left we have the closet. Let's see if we have another view.
Aw the bunk beds. The boys love their beds and so do I.
Next stop is the "Jack and Jill" bathroom. In the next shot you can see the tub and toilet. Just what you always wanted to see.
And here it is. Now we'll be exiting through the south door of the bathroom to the next hall way which will lead to the final two bedrooms. Watch your step.
So my office is the catch all room. Boxes still aren't completely unpacked, bills haven't been purged yet. You know, the typical "I am going CRAZY in here" room.
Just so you can see my organized chaos. :) Somethings never change, right mom!
Here is a view of the kitchen from the livingroom area. Just so you have a different view.
Here is my bedroom. Now, I know there's junk on the hope chest and crud on the dressers, but it's just how I roll sometimes.
Here is the shower and garden tub. After over 10 years of apartments I LOVE this tub.
My Dad the Super Hero!
My kids have the world's best dad and that is a fact! I love it that he isn't afraid to play! Dad is one big toy and my boys adore him. I am so lucky!
Super dad flew through the kitchen, circling through the bathroom and bedrooms leaving imagination in his wake.
An addition to FAMILY!!
So I knew this would get some second glances. lol The picture below is of Tre and he is the newest member of our family. So just before Labor Day we saw this dog at a rescue. I wasn't sure it was time for a dog, but my husband just fell in love with him. A little background...
Tre belonged to a man and his small family. Apparently due to hard times and stress the man went through a divorce, lost his job and had custody of his daughter. The only way to survive was to move back to Oregon with his parents leaving his dog of eight years behind. The woman at the shelter said she'd never seen a grown man cry so hard. It just touched my heart and I knew Tre was the dog for us. (Plus he was trained)

Several reasons why I love October life right now...
* First, I LOVE that it is 79 degrees right now in Goodyear, AZ at 1pm. Who says the desert doesn't have fall colors. :)

* Second, Halloween costumes make me smile and I can't wait to make costumes for the boys. I don't sew or anything so don't get the wrong idea, I am just going to do some iron on stuff. lol
This year they want to be the wiggles, but the year Brett was the pumpkin was my favorite.
*October means we are only one month out from a family get together for Thanksgiving. There's nothing like good food with good people!
* In approximately 7 weeks I can begin decorating for Christmas. (I already have some presents.) I am excited to decorate the house with lights and other Christmas items. I love this picture of Jaxon. My sister-in-law took it when he was about 2 months old. I love it because she didn't have to use photoshop or any kind of enhancement, just raw talent. :)
